These terms cover purchases from Painted Co (paintedco.com).

Who we are

Painted Co is an independent custom-portrait studio operating online. Contact: orders@paintedco.com.

What you're buying

A hand-painted custom portrait of your pet (or other subject) made from a photo you upload. Each portrait is a one-of-one work made for you. We deliver the final art as a printed canvas, framed print, mug, card, or other product you select at checkout.

Your photo

By uploading a photo you confirm you own it (or have permission to use it) and you grant Painted Co a limited license to use that photo solely to produce your portrait and provide customer support. We do not sell your photo. We may use anonymized previews and finished portraits in marketing, unless you opt out by emailing us.

Preview and approval

After upload, you'll receive a free digital preview. You can request unlimited edits before approving. Approval authorizes us to print and ship. See the Refund Policy for what happens after that.

Pricing, taxes, shipping

All prices on the site are in USD and exclude tax. Taxes are calculated at checkout based on shipping address. Shipping costs are shown before payment. Estimated delivery is 5–10 business days within the US; international shipping varies.

Acceptable use

Don't upload photos that depict illegal content, infringe someone else's rights, or are intended to harass another person. We reserve the right to refuse any order at our discretion and to issue a full refund if we do.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Painted Co's liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always posted at paintedco.com/policies/terms-of-service. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
